Kissinger to Embark on Summer Tour

Sunday, August 18, 2002

Guitars are strung, bags are packed, brand new buttons and stickers are printed, and Steve Garvey has an ample supply of flour tortillas... Kissinger is ready to hit the road! The Midwest will not be the same after Kissinger's 12 day, 12 city, 10 state tour that hits such cities as Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis and Cincinatti. Rock and Roll Ain't Cheap

This isn't Oz Fest. Venues like Kirby's Beer Store don't put bands up in plush hotels... in fact they don't even guarantee that the band will get paid. All they guarantee is that Kissinger will be able to rock the good people of Wichita. No complaints from Kissinger, however they do need to sleep, and have discovered that the van is not the best place to do it. (Although Luckycan catch a good nights rest in the booth of an Arby's, o3 is a little more particular)

The point is, if you have some floor space, and a big heart, and would like such perks as a FREE CD and a FREE T SHIRT, and any other goodies that the band may have when they get to your town, send an email to tour02@KissingerTheBand.com and let them know. They are a very grateful bunch, and your help will make a big difference in the success of the tour!
