Kissinger Blows Through Windy CityIt was Kissinger's kind of town. The 20 hours between Austin and Chicago melted away as Kissinger tore through a roaring set at the Metro in Chicago, opening for Kill Hanna, and Flickerstick Dec. 12. The sell out Chicago crowd roared like a lion as Chopper explained to them for the first time the difference between bikes and trucks and possums and assholes.
Wesley Willis, famous Chicago singer/songwriter attended the show and later exclaimed that "Kissigner can whoop a male camel's ass!"
Flickerstick proved gracious hosts, introducing Kissinger to their loyal fans, and sporting a Rock and Roll T-Shirt during their set. Judging by the wave of emails sent to Kissinger Headquarters after the show, another trip will be scheduled soon.
Hip Williams made the journey to Chicago accompanied by the Hooked on Sonics Army. Look for pictures and video from the show soon. Also seen at the show were Catalina de Loren, and Merry Kelton.
